Navigating

Helping businesses find a clear direction

With our navigation Plan

We'll help you:

Navigating your business to a sustainable future

Navigating is about looking closer at where you want to go and how you’re going to get there.

After carefully inspecting the social and environmental state of your business – we’ll work with you to find the best destination via the ideal route.

Our navigation plan is a step-by-step guide, outlining your purpose, goals and the steps you need to take to achieve those goals. We’ll prioritise the quick wins first.

By offering plans tailored to your business’ resources, goals and priorities, we’ll take you from feeling overwhelmed to being in control.

Keeping it Simple

How we work

You don’t have to do everything in one go. Small changes over time will have positive results. The important thing is to get started!

Our approach is about prioritising your actions to help you achieve consistent growth whilst shaping a better future, without making you feel overwhelmed.

From going through our tailor made inspection process, or through initial conversations and reading relevant internal documents you share with us – we’ll familiarise ourselves with your business

We’ll then have a working session where we get all your ideas out on the table, identify possible actions, rank them in order of priorities and break them down into manageable pieces. We’ll also help you identify where additional budget and resource will be required.

We then go away and create your navigation plan with supporting slides, following your brand guidelines, so you can use this document for internal communications.

The next step for you will be to review and agree on your navigation plan.  That’s it! We’re here to remove the headache and do the legwork for you.

Navigation Services

What's in our toolkit?

There’s no one-size fits all approach here. We’ll help you choose the elements that will create a plan that’s right for your goals, business, and budget.

The first step in creating your navigation plan is to find your purpose. This is like setting your destination, your north star, It’s the point that will guide you through your sustainability journey. It’s your purpose that aligns sustainable ambitions with what matters most to your business.

We’ll help you set practical, achievable, data-based goals alongside simple mechanisms you can use to track your progress.

Setting data–based goals helps to transparently show your results to customers and other stakeholders. We won’t set lofty, unattainable goals, but short- and long-term SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic, Timely) goals.

The navigation plan will include lots of actions and interventions to help you reach your goals.

Whether it’s implementing initiatives to make your business more environmentally sustainable; getting more involved with the local community (perhaps working with schools, social enterprises, or charities); doing more for your staff to make them feel happy and valued at work; working with your supply chain to maximise the good that each link in the chain can do….the possibilities are endless.

We’ll rank all actions based on how easy they are for your business to implement.

Our interventions will have positive effects – on your people, on your customers, on your reputation, on your brand and – ultimately – on your bottom line.

We’ll prioritise actions that support your purpose and address the most accessible and impactful changes first.

Actions will be ranked based on how easy they are for your business to implement and the results you can hope to achieve.

If suitable for your business, we can align your roadmap with the most relevant sustainability framework for your organisation. This could include the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs), or the B Impact Assessment (BIA).

Each B Corp journey is unique, with no one-right way to become a B-Corp, if it’s right for you to become one at all! It all depends on factors like your starting point, resources, business type, and team alignment. We’ll base our recommendations and tailor our process to your needs.

The BIA evaluates businesses’ impacts across 5 areas; governance, workers, environment, communities, and clients.

The assessment provides an impact score, offering valuable insights into your business and its operations by pinpointing areas for improvement. Even if you’re not pursuing full B-Corp certification, it’s a fantastic way to gauge your business’s overall impact.

If you’re ready, we can help you enhance your businesses sustainable game by writing policies and offering engagement packages that match your brand.

We work with staff, and business leaders offering coaching and mentoring to help facilitate and embed the sustainable transition within core business operations with a view to enhancing long-term success.
